Sunset over The Labyrinth, amazing art including Lightning Ridge John Murray Art Gallery, cafe date with my girl at The Busy Bee Café and Catering, Lighting Ridge Artesian Bore Baths in the mornings, wonderful camping sites at BIG4 Opal Holiday Park, fossicking for opals, plus buying a new black opal ring from the lovely people at Down To Earth Opals. It’s been wonderful spending time with friends and family.
A wonderful place to visit, lots of free fun to be had as well as tours you can book into. The Colour Car Door Tours are lots of fun and you can explore at your own pace. Just ask for a map at Lightning Ridge Visitors Information Centre – LRVIC. Lightning Ridge Tourism Association do a great job!
We’re heading off to find more adventures across the QLD border tomorrow but we’ll be back again for sure!
